Rabies?

Emma came back from the walk looking like this:

foaming at the mouth is surely a sign of rabies except we know this is how dogs sweat, the dogs do a lot of running while we are walking. Emma is so gross! Speaking of walking today mom took her walking stick and smacked (really just tapped) Ruth on the rear for no obvious reason. Well mom says Ruth was smarting off. Ruth stopped to tie her shoe, mom wondered why she was lagging behind and Ruth said, "well at least I wasn't picking up worms like someone else we know." Of course we had to burst out laughing. Diane didn't join us today, she is having carpel tunnel surgery today. Mom will be picking her up after she is released. We were teasing Diane that she schedules a work day the week she has surgery...hmmm is she trying to get out of work?
