We had a pretty easy Saturday. Just 3 small loads of laundry and putting dishes away for me. Mark brought the stools in from the porch where I put them yesterday to get them out of the way. He also brought down the plastic tub full of his paper work. Ruth was at mom's this morning. I drove over to take a few items left from last night. Mom said she slept well. The picture below popped up on my memories. This is Jewel's first foal by Evan. We were pretty thrilled with her.
We had left over pork loin for lunch. Mark wanted a vegetarian meal for supper so he was given a big salad, cottage cheese and steamed asparagus.
We have had the fire going all day and tonight watched a true story about a magpie named Penguin and a mom of 3 boys who broke her back. It was a good movie called Penguin Bloom.
