Glow In the Dark

We  had another beautiful Sunday. The wind was from the South and warmed us up to 40 degrees by the time we left for church, Kathy brought Nancy for me today and she came in a Santa Claus hat which she refused to take off. Thankfully Joan soon arrived with mom and Joan explained to Nancy that the hat needed to stay in her bag.  There was just one outburst but then Nancy quietly put the hat in the bag and left it in there the rest of the day.  Church was great. Gregg Rumbold had the morning message and Tim Roecker had the afternoon.  Rhoda and Zeke were the first to arrive at our house for dinner followed by Ben's family. Phil and Anna were a little late and told us not to wait so we ate in two shifts.  Today was the daddy daughter dances. Lee took Iris while Nolan took Zion. Both sent back pictures.

After supper the volleyball players left for the Hanna City gym while the kids here went to the barn with the glow in the dark balloons and bracelets. Even Nancy got to go and she loved it.

After everyone left Mark and I watched the 7th episode of season 3 of the Chosen. Such a good series but much too short.
Two updates on foals were posted tonight. The first is Brandee's filly Oynx (Lily's 2021 filly by Valiant) for her first time in a partial harness.
The next one was from Corey the owner of Quiet Dreamer, aka Dee (Hadassah's 2021 filly by Evan). She posted: This morning was fantastic! I took Dee to her first Working Equitation gathering. I let her lead the way. I only did as much as she was comfortable with. She made it clear she was comfortable with EVERYTHING! The only thing that made her uncomfortable was mommy walking away. She was so curious, so receptive, and so calm through it all. None of the obstacles bothered her, only when the bell went off above her head did she look a little worried, but calmed right down. I couldn’t be more proud of her, and more happy with the way she is adapting to everything I throw at her. Such an amazing baby!! We left as soon as I noticed she was at her point of done. She was taken home, tucked into her stall and fed all the nom noms. Can’t wait for the next one!
Sorry, not many pictures, my focus was completely on her.
