Today was an easy relaxing day. After our walk I took my time getting the Berean mail, shopping at Sam's for a few of the meals this week and a cheese cake for the Berean workers tomorrow. The mail and cheesecake were dropped off at the Berean office before leaving for home. AC Central was turned on while the floors were swept and the house straightened up from the weekend. We needed to see how old the batteries are on the golf cart so I had to do a search and it turned out they are 2011. I just need to buy 3 more. Mark looked at the battery connections and is going to clean them off in hopes we can drive it out of the barn and into the garage for repair. While searching I happened upon the picture below of when the Berean work was done at Meisters. We had lots of help, used 2 rooms and had such a good time doing that job.

Feels Like March
I also found the picture below of Emma and Darcy checking out the bird on the patio.
They were such wonderful gentle giants. They watched that bird for about 10 minutes before it finally flew off. By the way the pictures from today are all taken from 2014, 9 years ago. Molly had her first litter of puppies that year. Below is mom holding up one of those puppies.
Earlier that year is a picture of mom with Molly.
And as long as we are on the subject of mom. Below she is on Diane's 4 wheeler at Middle Grove. I think this was taken in June of 2014.
It was fun looking through the pictures. Ruth reported Fedi got the stock trailer done. Mike and Diane get home today from Gulf Shores so he will be picking it up soon. We have really missed that trailer. It was easy to haul weanlings in and easy to teach them to load into it. We would walk them in from the back and unload through the side door.
Rhoda and Jenis got so good at that they would hurl themselves out and take off galloping up the hills at Middle Grove.
It is exciting that we will have it to use for this summer. This stock trailer is our favorite.
I worked on the indoor today organizing and getting it ready for Spring. It was a nice day and feels like Spring is just around the corner. I KNOW it is only Feb 6th but it sure feels like March.
