Sermon On the Mount

No rain today even though it was predicted. We have a good start on bright sunny weather for the next 5 or 6 days. I'm thankful as I will be hauling horses tomorrow. Meister Electric came to finish the trench and lay conduit for the electrical service for the new barn.

Karin and Tom Haefli came today to work with Valiant in the round pen. One good thing about not having riding horses here are the stallions get worked. Valiant is such a good boy. Even my grand daughters love riding him.

Speaking of grand daughters, Phil and Anna's family took the motor home on a mini vacation for a long weekend. Sarah, Taunya and Stephanie took their kids to the HOI fair which is going on this next week and sent back these pictures.

Mark had to go to Costco for his hearing aid check and brought back one of those huge rotisserie chickens for our dinner. After supper we went out to finish working on fencing. There are always fences that need repairing on a horse farm.
We got done in time to watch the show at the Giant Goose Ranch on Facebook live. A lot of the family went from here. It was very interesting until Jenny, the 3 year old filly, turned her rear end, backed into him and knocked Lew down. Lew said, he made the mistake of taking his eyes off her. He wasn't hurt and by the end he was riding her walk, trot and canter in the round pen. If interested in learning more of Sermon on the Mount and Dr. Lew Sterrett click HERE. It was a perfect evening for his sermon, no rain, cool and a slight breeze.
