Unexpected Birth Retained Placenta
WE had such a day from early morning, serving lunch at church, a cancelled flight, trail ride, Luke's graduation party and then a trip to Middle grove and more will be written about everything tomorrow. The big news today was Mike and Diane took Shannon to Middle Grove and Shannon saw a new foal. Rosaleigh who was due June 6th delivered there. She had not delivered the placenta. Shannon was here to meet her filly Ella (Hadassah's filly) and just happens to be a vet. Thankfully her flight today was the flight cancelled as we just happened to need a vet. It is now almost 11:00 pm and with Shannon's help the placenta has been delivered. The filly is gorgeous! She is strong and healthy. Dr. Hoerr will be here first thing in the morning. Pictures will be here tomorrow! Thankful all is well.
