It was hard to get going today and I was almost late for the walk having to jog trot to make it in time. Anna and the girls picked me up after the walk and drove to Sarah's house. We ended up stopping for a fire truck on Hanna City Glasford Road near Hanna City. At first we were confused wondering why the truck would stop when there were no houses near by.
Then we saw the tractor smoking out in the field.
We stopped at McDonald's to pick up lunch for us and something for Sarah and Rhoda. Kensley was sound asleep when we went through the drive through so as soon as we got to Sarah's house Braelyn and Taegan couldn't wait for Kensley to open her happy meal and find her prize.
Zion was already eating her lunch.
Sarah's big news was that Arietta had her puppies. She had 2 puppies on May 9th, Sarah's birthday and today was the first time we have seen them.
She had one male and one female. These are non shedding Maltipoo puppies and will be for sale. Arietta is being a very good mom to them and both are gaining well. nice and plump. There is nothing cuter than a plump puppy. If interested in reserving one there is more information on our website
www.horsemeister.com just click on that link, look to the left and click on the puppy for sale link.
Stephanie, Elisabet and Israel joined us after lunch. The cousins had such a good time playing with each other. Of course I took a lot of pictures. If you would like to see them click HERE. Before we left the kids cleaned up Zion's room, putting all the toys back and that made room to play some games.
We left for home and made it here around 4:30 pm. Mark was over spreading gravel under the solar system. A load of lime had been delivered and dumped up by the gravel pile and I needed to move in a couple round bales. I got the first one moved in by letting those mares out back. When Mark got back we moved the second one in for Lily, Lola and Rosalie. I'll need 2 more bales moved in tomorrow. Another in the middle paddock and one in the short shelter. Madeira's udder was checked but no change so she will not be stalled tonight. I bought some very strong spray which is suppose to stop ticks along with flies, mosquito's, gnats and other pests. When Karin arrived we mixed up two spray bottles full and went out to spray all the horses here. She put one bottle in her car for the Middle Grove horses. We teased Soul and Ayanna today but neither showed. Mark was mowing but got the mower stuck. The grass has grown tall and thick since the last time he mowed and the hill is wet and slippery. That will need to be weed whacked unless it dries up. It is NOT going to dry up, according to the weather report we have a good chance of rain every day for the entire next week.
Amy reported that Belle is doing well at Bridlewood.
