Joan was better this morning so stayed with mom after the walk. Diane quit a little early, Ruth is now on her cruise so I finished the walk up at the truck. The hitch needed to be switched from the dropped to the 3 way but I couldn't find my 3 way and ended up using the rusty one from the skid steer. The truck was driven to D & H trailer repair to pick up the Wildwood. It is now back to looking brand new. When I got back to the farm it was backed into the barn. This sounds so easy but no one else was here so a little complicated. The first job was to move the tractor out of they way. Valiant needed a bale today so a bale was picked up and the tractor taken to the right side of the barn out of the way of where the trailer needed to go. It took a lot of trips in and out of the truck to make sure the trailer was parked correctly. Not too close to the other 3 trailers and out of the way of the hay.

Teaching Patience
The truck was unhooked and moved out of the arena before moving in the new bale. Below the new bale is all ready to be hauled out.
Before leaving the barn I remembered Joan needed more information on the 2021 Salem for RV Share. The picture below was really all the information she needed to look it up.
But just in case she doesn't want to I had some of the info already. This trailer is built exactly like the Wildwood. Below are the specs taken directly from the builder, Forest River of the 2021 Salem FSX 178BHSK
Valiant gets all excited when he sees the tractor coming with the bale. Not for the bale, he knows he gets a bucket of grain to munch on while the bale is being moved in. He dances around the shelter out to the main gate then waits at the gate for the bucket. Once the bale is moved in what ever grain he hasn't finished is dumped in his regular feed bucket.
Tonight was family night at church. That meant a light dinner then Matt Ricketts gave the message. Matt is 23 years old, he and Anni had a son Dexter 3 months ago. He spoke of how important it is for Dexter to have a Godly dad and how important dad's are to their children. It was a good talk. Mark went but I watched on line as I am still coughing from this cold and don't want to spread any germs. Our nice warm weather yesterday left for home traveling WAY south while the winter weather returned. It was in the low 30s all day. The insulators came yesterday but left early. They ran out of foam and I'm not sure when they will be back. They did not come today. We are on hold again. This barn is teaching me patience.
