Friday Night Dinner

All 3 of us ended up driving our cars to the meeting place this morning for the walk. Joan couldn't walk as today was Co-op. After the walk I went in to make breakfast and stay with mom. Anna called and needed the truck hooked up to Mark's flatbed trailer this afternoon so as soon as Karin arrived I left to unhook the horse trailer and hook up the flat bed except the 2003 truck had been parked in front of the flat bed and was dead. Since we don't have battery cables I ran over to mom's to borrow her's but her's was gone. I ran in to ask to borrow Karin's but her's was also gone. I ended up taking the battery charger and an extension cord. Anna had arrived to get the truck by the time I got back. The battery needed a few minutes to charge but once it started Mark helped unhook the horse trailer and hook up the flat bed. Phil and Anna filled that trailer with 4 x 8 sheets of plywood and then filled the back of Phil's truck with more supplies.  Mark decided since it was Friday night he would like to go out to eat and wanted to invite the rest of the family.  Sarah and Nolan already had plans  and Phil and Anna wanted to work at the barn but the rest were glad to come. We picked up Braelyn, Taegan and Kensley and left for Tequilas in East Peoria. We arrived first and explained there would be 15 of us.  While waiting for the others to arrive the girls showed me a pattern they made up.

Ben and Taunya didn't bring their children as Addyson is now a teenager and able to babysit. Not that any of their kids are babies. We ended up with 7 kids and 8 adults.

The chips were a good way to keep everyone busy while waiting for our food. Elisabet found two chips stuck together.
The food was good.

Not sure exactly how much Zeke liked it.
Once we were all satisfied the kids did crafts with their cups.

Zeke was content to just watch them.
A good time was had by all. We left there around 7:30 pm.
Zeke turned a year old yesterday and I forgot to post his birthday picture.
And since this IS a horse blog. Below is a picture of an Evan son by Ayanna. He rides and drives. His owner is thrilled with him.
