Rosie On Her Way

Fedi came on the walk this morning along with Ruth, Joan, Diane, Heather, me and 5 dogs. We talked to mom, she is really enjoying her stay in her new condo. Today was predicted to be a beautiful warm sunny day and the sunrise was beautiful on the beach.  We also had a nice day with a high of 59 degrees and sunshine. Tomorrow rain moves in and then comes the cold spell. The shipper for Rosie called to report he would be at the water tower around 10:40 am. Rosie was loaded up and taken to the water tower and I'm very pleased to report she stood quietly in the trailer while we waited. Below is her ride to California.

She followed me right up the ramp and into her deluxe stall but got nervous when I walked out and she was locked in. Thankfully she settled down quickly and was soon on the way.  When I got back to the farm Magda and Isaiah were here. Isaiah was busy watering the indoor arena and Magda was busy grooming a very muddy Irish.

Isaiah brought Ripper out to the round pen for some relaxation work.

I'd say it worked.
I went in to clean up the trailer from Rosie, parked it in the indoor arena and brought Kyro into the indoor to work on trailer loading with him as he is to leave within the next 3 days. Kyro had the same reaction as Rosie, he had to check it out practicing ON HIS OWN jumping in and out. These foals are SO funny with their curiosity.

Isaiah came in and Kyro was glad to follow him around.
Isaiah walked into the trailer and Kyro followed him right inside. These foals really do train themselves.
This afternoon Dan and Diesel came over for a visit. Braelyn, Taegan and Kensley arrived now long after and just like that the house was full of people and dogs as they brought Pax, Israel's dog Rizzy is visiting for a few days and Emma wasn't very happy to share her space with Diesel.
When Dan and Diesel left the crafts were taken out and the girls and I made big snowflakes out of paper bags.

We thought they were beautiful but still needed a little color. I suggested dribbling glue on them then covering them with glitter but Anna threw all the glitter away.  I wonder why?
