Nancy's FREE

It was really hard to wake up this morning but I dragged myself out of bed just as the coffee finished at 5:15 am, quickly downed 2 cups of good strong coffee and I was good to go. I needed to get the house cleaned up and the floors scrubbed before leaving for church. This wasn't a case of working on Sunday this was a labor of love. The family was coming over and with all the rain we had and two dogs coming in and out the floors all needed to be scrubbed.  Ruth picked up Nancy this morning and brought her to church. Nancy's home had Covid go through and Nancy had a mild case of the dreaded disease but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Now that she had it she no longer has to be quarantined. This was the first time she has been out since the shut down in March. She was so thrilled to see us all. She got to see Joan, Diane, Mike, Spark, Rhonda, Mark and I at church. Mark Streitmatter from Bloomington had the message. After the service Craig Martin from Princeville announced our new deacon Craig Stickling. We took Nancy home from church. She helped prepare the food for dinner then when David, Israel and Elisabet arrived help make colorful snowflakes. Nancy had fun coloring then was glad to show it off after finishing hers.

Elisabet was also pretty thrilled with hers.

Phil and Anna came with Braelyn, Taegan and Kensley and they were also glad to help make snowflakes.

We cleaned up everything from the craft mess then Nancy helped set the table for dinner. Everyone came except Lee and Iris. We had a fun household. After supper the bigger grandkids went upstairs to decorate a bedroom for Christmas while the youngest 3 played downstairs.

When the big kids finished upstairs I went up to look at what they had done. They made a couch in the closet, had lights strung all around the room. Below they are all posing on their home made couch in the closet.
Above is without the flash so the lights show and below is with the flash.
Below are a few pictures of the decorated room.

Anna took the Christmas decorations up to the apartment. She is going to decorate that for Christmas for the next group coming in who will be here for 5 nights.  The guys all went to volley ball while the girls stayed here and visited.  Ben and Tauyna took Nancy home for me.  Joan is going to be taking Nancy to Gulf Shores on Wednesday to join mom, Matt and Anni. Speaking of Matt and Anni they are selling all the furniture and appliances in mom's new condo. Mom called today after church to report they were having breakfast when people arrived to take the table and chairs.  The new furniture is suppose to come in this week. Mom is pretty thrilled with how things are going for her.
