Rainy and Resting

On this day before Christmas the winds blew the lightning flashed and we had storms. The waves were huge, would come up to crest and crash down but the wind would pick up the sea water and blow it backward. It rained hard all morning Ruth and Fedi drove to Pensacola to pick up Ryan and Steven from the airport. I ran to Walmart to pick up a few things for tomorrow's dinner and the rest of the day was spent lazing around in the apartment. A really neat picture of the two planets Jupiter and Saturn coming together to make the Christmas star was posted from the Hubble telescope.

Joan was up until 2:00 am putting together the 2 sets of triple bunk beds for the 3rd bedroom in mom's new condo. These were ordered from Amazon and came in 4 big boxes but when putting them together it turned out that Amazon sent 4 sets of triple bunk beds. Since all 4 boxes had been unpacked believing they were 2 boxes for each set all the packing material had been thrown in the dumpster. That meant this morning they had to go through the dumpster to get the packing material back out and package up the 2 extra sets of bunk beds for shipping back.  This afternoon the sun came out but the wind was still blowing hard straight from the north.                                                                  Once Ruth and Fedi got back from Pensacola with Ryan and Steven they unpacked then went out to supper. When they got home they hiked out to the beach to watch the sunset. The front had moved in pushing the wall cloud back and lighting it up.
It was too cold to stay long.  Mark and I heated up soup, left over fish and some rolls for our dinner. This evening Mark found a documentary on ancient Spain. I listed on line to Bluffton's service Sunday morning first then Roanoke's service. I sure am thankful for AC Central. Tomorrow we celebrate Jesus's birthday first by listening on line then a big birthday celebration for Jesus at Beth and Greg's place. I heard there will be gifts given.                                                                               The lady that bought Zalena sent the cool picture below of her mustache.

Zalena is bred to Evan and is due in March. They are thrilled with her and tells us that she is the 'QUEEN'! I'm really glad Zalena ended up in such a nice home for the rest of her life.
