Last Warm Day?

The wind was coming from the south this morning bringing warmth. I hiked out to get a few pictures of the sunrise. Today there were just a few low clouds barely in front of the sun breaking through the ocean.

Of course I had to blow it up to see those clouds.
Ruth and I headed over to mom's condo after breakfast. We met Berlica and Molly at the elevator. Berlica had just taken Molly for her morning walk. I took a few pictures from mom's condo. The first was taken of the lagoon side.
The next few pictures were taken off of her 10th floor balcony. That is Diane and Mike's townhome complex and the first windows from the left is their condo windows. That is Tim's van, he is working on those townhomes.
The picture below is looking east.
Nancy came out to join me on the balcony.
It wasn't long before mom, Berlica and Molly came to enjoy the warm sunshine.
Diane walked over bringing a couple pillows and when Nancy saw her she gave her a big hug. Nancy is always happy to see any of her sisters.
Ruth and I took Nancy to Ben and Taunya's condo. We sat out by the pool until lunch time, then went in and had lunch. Ruth took Nancy shopping while I headed over to Lani Kai, mom's other condo and joined Diane and Beth on the beach. With the wind coming from the south the winds were really kicking up the waves. Anni and Matt came out to boogie board.

The clouds started moving in so we went to Beth's condo to sit in the hot tub. Mike came over and told us what happened with he and Matt on the jet ski yesterday. They got out to the Gulf, Mike's hat blew off, they went back for it but when they reached for the hat they both leaned over at the same time, the jet ski flipped knocking them into the ocean, the key strap broke and the key to the jet ski sunk. They were able to climb back on, Mike got the jet ski started somehow by using his shoe lace. They were so cold by the time they made it back they jumped in Beth's hot tub fully clothed to warm up. Mike got a new jet ski key today.  We made our supper plans which was for all the women to go to DeSoto's at 5:00 pm leaving all the men at home. When we got there that restaurant was closed. Diane and Beth had half off discount cards for 3 different restaurants, we chose the one called Mikees as they just happened to be having a special of filet mignon, 5 jumbo shrimp and 2 sides for $17.99. We ALL ordered that and none of us were disappointed.
We really enjoyed our meal together. Ruth and I took left overs home for Fedi and Mark and they declared those left overs, "great!" The weather report for tomorrow isn't good. It is 67 degrees right now at 8:15 pm but the cold is moving down from the north and by 3:00 am rain moves in and by 5:00 am the temperature is going to start dropping drastically by midnight tomorrow it is supposed to be down to 38 degrees brrr. We came south to escape the cold and now the cold is moving all the way down here. At least this cold spell is not going to last more than a couple days. By Sunday it should be back up to the 60s.
Rhoda posted a picture of Hazel and her puppies. They are now a week old and doing very well.
Hazel is such a sweet, loving dog that when they bought her, brought her home and got to know her well Rhoda decided to name her Hazel after Hazel Geyer who was such a wonderful person.
