Puppy Party

Mom and Aunt Jinnie met us early for the walk. Diane is now in Gulf Shores so it was just Joan, Ruth, Aunt Jinnnie and me on the walk. Joan had to leave early to take the Wolf Pup in to get the awning repaired, Ruth left early for work, mom and Aunt Jinnie just did one round so I quit and went to take care of the horses. This morning the weanlings were de-wormed with Quest Plus and Zalena given Strongid. We don't give pregnant mares Quest Plus. Hoerr Vet office was called to give all the information for the health certificates for crossing state lines to all the horses leaving this week and then early October.  To get the information and pass it along is quite time consuming.  Anna arrived with the girls to start cleaning the apartment for the next guests and when Rhoda arrived right after that with Iris, Ruby and Ruby's Cavapoo puppies we had a puppy party.

When we were done playing with the puppies Iris came in to take a nap and Rhoda loaded up all the dogs for her trip to the vet. If you would like to see the rest of the pictures from the puppy party click HERE
Ruby's puppies are 7 weeks old and today was their final well puppy check up at Malabar Vet Clinic. They all passed with flying colors! The vet made the comment that this was a VERY nice litter. Anna took the girls home, Rhoda took Iris and the puppies home so I went out to work outside as we were having a beautiful day. The weanlings were worked with and handled. Otto, Indy's colt lost his halter somewhere in the field. I will need to put another one on him before we leave for Gulf Shores. He isn't leaving until after I am gone and someone else is going to have to meet the transport company. I talked to Anna today about being plan B just in case the transport company can't reach Mike. Of course laundry was done as it is Monday and while that was in the machines AC Central was on. It was a good day.
