Work Day for Mom

As we cannot all meet as a family for mom's Mother's Day work day mom made out a list and left it on her kitchen table before she left for Gulf Shores. Each family picked something on the lists and today a lot on that list was accomplished. Spark and his grandson Asher are measuring the boards needed to replace the rotting boards heading down to the lake.
Asher's dad Gabe doing a photo bomb. He was the person installing the new boards.
Nolan, Sarah and Zion were busy cleaning out the garage.

That is Eden carrying the boards down to her dad.

Below Rhonda and Molly are washing windows.
Fedi arrived to work on the awning.

The flowering crab tree is gorgeous right now.
 The washing window crew.

 Anni is weeding.
 Gabe removing old boards.

Steven and Matt working on the awning.
Nolan and David putting the lawn mowers back in the garage.
Eden and Zion supervising that job.
Fedi and Spark unloading the saw.

Josiah and Asher bringing over supplies.
The awning up where it belongs.

 Spark moving the supply truck.
Matt, Steven and Anni digging up the existing electric lines for when mom gets her new meter installed.
We finished up before noon then Karin took Nolan, Sarah and Anni on a trail ride.

Zion got to ride behind Karin on Sally to finish this ride.

Eden got to ride with her mom on Missy.
The horses were put away. Karin, Magda and her brother Isaiah helped tease Oksana and Rosalie. Oksana said no but Rosalie was still in and covered. When we finished Zion and Eden wanted to drive the golf cart.
Turtles all lined up on logs.

 The Redbud tree looking gorgeous.
Irish needed her tail washed out as I didn't get it wrapped before she delivered her filly and it was sticky with amniotic fluid. When that was done she and her filly were taken out to the field in the sunshine to dry.
Her filly was tasting the grass but soon got the zoomies and started galloping around her mom.

In the next field over Indy, Oksana and the two boys were also running for the sheer joy of running.

Mark got lots of mowing down today. The mare pasture, the track around the fields and weed whacked over at mom's. I got all the veggies cut up for tomorrow's meals and 10 pounds of chicken breasts cut up and cooked. We had stir fry for supper, it will be served for church lunch tomorrow and then for Sunday dinner. Mark is going to be sick of chicken stir fry after that 3rd meal.
