After our walk this morning I got busy moving horses so that later I could move in new round bales. Jenis, Indy, her colt Oksana and her colt needed to be moved out of the stallion pasture. Jenis was put in the middle paddock with Jury and Roxanne. Indy and Oksana along with their colts were put in Ribbons old paddock, except when I was moving them Oksana went right over to Evan and showed. Right about that time Sarah showed up with her two girls then Anna with 2 of her girls. Sarah took all the girls on a golf cart ride while Oksana was getting covered by Evan. There were two boards down in that paddock and the colts both learned how to climb out. Sarah and Zion helped put a board up temporarily until Nolan could get here after work. Evan's paddock needed to have a ditch dug to try to drain the water out of his shelter and into the field. He was put in the pasture while that was done then a bale put in his paddock. Sarah kept Valiant busy feeding him grain while a bale was moved into his paddock. David and Stephanie arrived with Israel and Elisabet as I was moving a bale into the short shelter paddock. Lily was going to be put in that but first was teased and she showed so was covered by Valiant. She and her colt were taken out back first for a few pictures for his owner.
Soul, Lola and Irish with their 3 fillies were put in the pond pasture.
The kids headed over to the lake where Berlica helped them catch a whopper of a frog. They brought it here to show all the adults.
Below they are deciding what to do with it.
They decided it needed to go back to where they caught it from so got on the golf cart and we drove over to Rachel's to let it go.
Nolan arrived about the time Eden was ready for a nap so I offered to stay inside to watch her while Sarah and Nolan worked on replacing broken boards.
They found 7 or 8 boards down in 3 of the paddocks and got them all repaired. About that time Spark and Philip came with the bucket truck to work on the barn antenna.
Mark picked up Gil's for supper and we were ALL hungry after working outside all day. We went to mom's for church tonight and was joined by Diane, Joan, Ruth, Fedi and Joan's kids. Tim Roecker had the message. Joan brought over pecan pie for a treat after church.
The news from the governor's office is that he withdrew his power grab.
