New Mower

We all made it to the walk this morning and it wasn't raining.  The rain came later but we had a nice sunny morning and afternoon. The rain came in the evening and it came down hard. Jewel had been put inside before the storm hit and the monitor was on but the sound of the rain hitting that metal roof was so loud the sound was turned way down. Jewel had waxing again this morning but her udder still isn't as big as it should be. She was turned out into the field for the day.
Indy, Oksana and Irish were let out into the big field to graze from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. These 3 are scheduled for a sonagram on Wednesday and depending on what the vet finds they may be heading out to Middle Grove. There is so much grass out there the horses love to be there.  Valiant's and Rosaleigh's paddock each got a new round bale. Philip brought Mark's new mower home after work. As soon as it was put together Mark had to try it out on our lawns. It is a big mower with a 30 inch deck but is self propelled which helps some.

This evening the pictures from yesterday were downloaded. Below Rhonda is giving 4 wheeler rides to Israel, Kensley, Taegan and Braelyn. Emma saw the 4 wheeler coming and just couldn't help herself, she has to bark at it.

The kids had fun on the trampolines.

The volley ball games went on for hours.
Watching them play was enough to wear both Mark and Emma out

The evening was cool so Mark had the grandkids pack the golf cart with logs then brought it to the fire pit and started the campfire.

The football games were also going strong.
 Kensley and Israel played too.

The fire hit the spot as once the sun went down it got quite cool.
It was perfect for cooking except none of us brought any food.
Jewel is quiet and content in the stall. She knows the routine, looks forward to coming in for a handful of grain, then settles down for the night. She is due in 4 more days. Hope her udder fills up first.
