The food was delicious! We are so thankful in Peoria for our young group. They are so willing to serve. Craig Stickling had the afternoon message on Mark 7. Elisabet sat with me during the morning service and she was her usual perfectly behaved self. She really is very well behaved in church.
It was raining when we left there for home. As soon as I changed, the 2 foals were checked and, the IV flushed on Jewel's colt then both mares and foals turned out into the indoor arena together for the first time. Right now both mares are being pretty protective of their foals but each time I checked on them all was quiet. We all went to mom's house for our Mother's Day Dinner. We enjoyed watching the birds at her place.
After dinner we played games.
Zion was too young to play but had fun on grandma's rocking horse.
The rain continued all afternoon and even this evening. Everything is saturated. I'm thankful for an indoor arena. The foals can have some freedom but still be protected from this cold rainy weather. Hopefully tomorrow we the weather will improve and new pictures can be taken of Zalena's new filly. She is a typical Evan daughter stocky but beautiful. Check out the pictures below of this filly's FULL brother born in 2017
We are going to be breeding Zalena back to Evan. Zalena is a beautiful mare but she out produces herself each year with gorgeous foals!
She is a wonderful mother and is very fertile. She holds her weight well even while nursing.
I want to wish all 5 of my girls a wonderful Mother's Day Blessing. All 5 are amazing mothers, loving their husbands and my grandchildren.
