Wet Sunday

A gentle rain started yesterday afternoon and it hasn't stopped yet. This is such a soft rain that it is soaking deep into the ground. So good for the fields and pastures. We had another blessed Sunday. This afternoon was our Sunday School Easter program and I will confess that tears came to my eyes as I was watching these precious young children sing praises about the huge sacrifice Jesus made for me. When the Bible class and young group sang the harmony was beautiful. So beautiful it brought chills to the arms and neck.
David, Stephanie, Israel and Gertie came over after church. We women had a nice visit while the men worked on taxes.
Mike and Diane spent Saturday at Middle Grove with 2 of their grandchildren and sent the pictures below:
Above they are taking the jeep loaded with the saddles over to where the herd was grazing and below is Tate riding Cookie and Willow riding Missy.
The horses are loving the new spring grass coming up. They are roaming freely over the 200 acres but cannot possibly eat it fast enough to do any harm, there is just so much good grazing land.
I just came back from the barn where Marika was fed, watered and her stall cleaned. We will have an early night tonight to help with the time change that happened early this morning.
