Israel took the bike up to the barn.
Then took it right into the stall.
He really enjoys watching then helping the manure being scooped up with the manure fork and dumped in the wheel barrow.
We needed to be in the car by 9:30 am to make the 10:00 am Berean meeting but were a couple minutes late due to grandma having trouble remembering to take first the diaper bag then the purse. Diane was picked up at her office and we still made it to the office before our interviewers, Abby and Ken.Israel was really good for the meeting, he asked for a pudding cup but after a few bites decided he really didn't like it.
As soon as I got home from the meeting I went straight over to Phils to watch his three girls while he drove to Meisters to make a part for the wood burner and only then remembered I'd left the camera at the Berean office. Phil brought back the part, the girls were loaded up and then I had 4 happy kids to play with. Three of them were fascinated with the drill and Philip let each one have a turn drilling the hole.
Israel was thrilled, Taegan had to drill in her princess dress while Kensley watched. Braelyn was too busy playing with grandma's new toys to want to run the drill.
Mark and I needed to leave by 5:20 pm so we would arrived by 6:00 pm for Princeville's rotating potluck at Marvin and Jane's house in Princeville, IL. We had a wonderful evening of food and fellowship. On the way home we stopped at the Berean office to pick up the camera. This morning was sunny but cool. Mark decided to try out the new wood burner but the igniter didn't work. He found the problem and will contact the company for the part Monday. Karin came over a bit later to work with Rosalie.
She was introduced to weight in the saddle today and did very well. To see the rest of the pictures of this training session click HERE.
Mark was busy spreading gravel BY WHEELBARROW in front of the solar-system.
The skid steer just wouldn't start again, we are probably going to have to get a new battery for that.
Mom and Diane came walking so I joined in and we walked over to the tinyhouseinthemeadow which Anni will be moving in as soon as she gets it cleaned up and organized. Anni and Karin were hard at work cleaning. This is going to be a charming little house in the meadow for Anni.
The mare's udders were all checked this morning and this afternoon, none of them are waxing so we believe we have some time. They were left out this evening so I won't have to clean stalls tomorrow.
Ella's colt was haltered and given a tying lesson today. He did very well. The halter was put on with no fight at all. This was the first time he was tied and tested it a lot but gave up pretty quickly each time. Another good day!
