Emily borrowed the horse trailer to take her cow to the locker this morning. The lights on the stock trailer are still not working so she had to take the 4 horse Exiss and that trailer has a ramp. When she arrived at the locker the workers were sure she was going to be chasing that cow all over the yard as there is no way to back a trailer with a ramp up to the loading stocks but this was Kendra. Emily's family cow, the cow that was here to deliver her calf that first summer Emily came. She quietly untied her and led her right in. Kendra is a huge cow and Emily is a small girl so to all those people at the locker this was very impressive. Emily stopped at Big R on the way back and picked up 20 bags of grain and 6 salt blocks.
I watched Phil and Anna's girls today and as soon as I got home unloaded, giving each paddock a new salt block. I still need to pick some up for Middle Grove. Mark and I went to Bloomington tonight to go out to eat with Rhoda, Lee, and Lee's parents Debbie and Lynn. We ate at Logan's then went to Rhoda and Lee's house for dessert. While there Amy Koch called to tell us that Earl Ringger had a stroke. She sent this update: They life flighted him to St. Francis. He had 2 clots, one was dissolved. The other he had to have surgery. But he is up and walking today. His speech is affected. He might get to go home in the next 2 days. Please pray that Earl could have complete and quick healing.
Earl was suppose to come to Peoria on Palm Sunday to help Tim with Communion.
We got home from Bloomington to find the internet not working. Two electricians came today to work on the solar system and turned off the breaker. Phil was called and told us exactly what to look for but only AFTER I spent quite a lot of time trying to fix it from the house. Mark walked up to the barn and flipped the breaker and we were back on line!
