Camping Day 2

We had a beautiful sunrise today after all the rain yesterday. The sun was a most welcome sight.

There were white pelicans on the lake with the geese, herons and many ducks.
They took off as soon as they saw me and flew right into the sunrise.

Three pots of coffee were made and all of that was consumed along with one pot of decaf. Breakfast was well attended. We had scrambled eggs, sausage, shredded cheese, biscuits, a butter braid orange juice and sugar kiss cantaloupe for breakfast. After breakfast the games started. While the adults were playing volley ball, the little ones were bouncing on the bouncer.
The older grands were on bike rides or playing gaga ball. At 9:30 am was the first craft of the day. Sidewalk chalk.

The next craft was a water balloon war.
Right after that the pool opened.
Lunch was a welcome break from swimming. The ladies were busy making sandwiches when we came walking over from the pool.
The next craft was water pistils filled with paint. The kids could squirt the paint at a canvas until their gun ran out.
More swimming, volleyball, golf, gaga ball and then more indoor crafts.

We had a bag game tournament before heading outside for the kickball game.
For dinner tonight each needed to cook their own hotdogs or brats over the fire and after supper we had a soft ball game. I took lots of videos during the day and some videos of the softball game until the phone battery ran out.  After the game we celebrated Anna and Mark's birthday with cupcake and icecream.  Tonight is our last night so we sat around the campfire quite late. We had one accident. Zion fell against the firepit and has a nasty burn on her leg. Sarah grabbed her as she stumbled back but still hit the hot metal. We were able to get cold water on the burn quickly but it will blister. Stephanie helped get it bandaged.
