Filling the Wood Shed

I over slept not waking until close to 6:00 am and had to scramble to get everything done before 7:00 am as my shift at mom's started at then. Joan reported mom had a good night not waking until Molly jumped on her bed just as I was walking in.  That good night's sleep really does wonders, mom walked the aisle 5 times along with some of her other therapy.  At noon Anna came over to relieve me so we could take the girls out to eat at Avanti's. They came at 8:00 am and helped split and stack wood until 11:30 am.

We still have more room and thankfully have a lot more to split.
We heavily depend on wood to heat the house and sometimes the apartment. Those wood burners work very well and is free heat. No using that expensive propane when there is an abundance of wood.
We drove to the Avanti's off of Sterling and all of us got plenty to eat. I brought home an order of pizza bread deluxe for mom's meal tonight.  While there Fedi stopped in, to give Spark a bill. When Fedi was waiting for his hernia surgery the insurance decided they would not pay for the robotic surgery. Fedi asked how much extra that bill would be and was quoted $1.00.  This was after waiting for over 3 weeks to get approved. Spark told Fedi HE would spring for that extra dollar and just get the surgery scheduled. Well today the bill came. Sure enough Fedi was charged $1.00  He came to collect that from Spark.
Below is Spark after paying his share of Fedi's surgery.
Today was the wedding day for Sarah and Brandon and mom was supposed to be at that wedding. We tried to watch it online but was never able to find it. Aunt Jinnie is coming tomorrow and we are supposed to be able to watch it on line for a couple more days so hopefully when she comes we can get the correct link.  Sarah Reinhard came to relieve me around 5:00 pm and a bit ago sent the text that mom was already in bed and settled so I guess I'll head to bed too. Thankful she had a good day and very thankful for capable volunteers.
