Storm Damage

Ayanna left this morning for her new home in North Carolina. I took her to the water tower to meet the transport company just after 6:00 am.
When I got back to the house I started checking out the storm damage from last night. There were trees and limbs down everywhere.

We had a really wonderful day in church. David Obergfel had the morning message and Craig Stickling had the afternoon. We took a break between them, going into the parking lot to meet for lunch. After church Rhoda came over to help get a video and updated pictures of Jewel's filly. Of course we had to give the filly a bath before taking any pictures after that storm. We were both pleased with how well she haltered and tied. She still needs work on leading but then she was just born May 29th, 2020 and only a little over a month old. Jewel and her filly were taken to the round pen for the video. This filly goes airborne! She has so much lift it was easy to get pictures with all 4 hooves well off the ground.

Mike reported Skye did well. After supper we all went to the playground. Rhoda organized games for the younger children while the big kids played volleyball.

Below is a video of some of the activities.
The games went on until almost 9:00 pm until they all finally wore out. Joan built a fire and the kids roasted marshmallows for s'mores. Julie the new owner of Ayanna posted a couple pictures. Nice to know she made the long 12 hour trip with no problem.

It was a beautiful day for traveling, not too hot, not too cold and no storms!
