Monday Lake Norfork

Another beautiful day. The kids ate breakfast then migrated outside to the pool.It was already hot enough to swim.

After the adult breakfast lunch was packed and off we went to the lake. It was only when we were unloading the van that we realized we had forgotten the lunch.
We found the perfect place for cliff jumping.
It was also a good place for hiking, swimming, using the boat water slide and jumping off the upper deck. The sun was shining and the weather perfect. When another pontoon boatload of people arrived and after they watched us for a while they decided to also do the cliff jumping. We were getting tired of climbing that tall cliff and playing on the rocks so loaded back up to start tubing.

We had gone a long way and by noon the kids were hungry and tired and most fell asleep on that long ride back to the marina.

On the walk back up to the van a lot of butterflies had come down to get a drink. Kensley went to see if she could catch one.
The kids scarfed down lunch then settled in to watch a movie inside out of the sun while the parents used the pool.
David and Stephanie cooked supper tonight serving us burrito bowls. The meal was colorful and tasty. Rhoda and Lee left for their date night while I watched Iris. We had a good time playing. IF you would like to see the rest of the pictures from today click HERE.  After all the kids were in bed we watched a movie based on a true story of a very talented hockey player who started using drugs, went snow boarding and became lost on the mountain for 8 days and how he survived. That was called 6 Below.
