Saturday's Happenings

As I was getting ready to write the blog last night a big storm came through and knocked out our electricity. Instead of waiting we just went to bed.  Saturday was not a busy day. Mark got a lot of mowing done, mowing all 3 pastures.  I got 2 bales moved in. We had a rain storm move in for the evening but as soon as the rain stopped the camping trailer was taken off the truck, the 2 horse trailer hooked up and Ayanna brought over for her trip to North Carolina Sunday.  As soon as that was done the rain started back up again but the big storm came a bit later.  Not only did it take out the electricity, it knocked down trees over both drives. We saw someone in the rain trying to move the one from the main drive. Mike and Diane are at Middle Grove and Mike sent the picture below with the caption, "That is one nice foal!"
That is Soul and her filly by Evan.
He sent another picture a bit later of the herd lounging around in the what we call the swampy area.
Amy Koch led a group of 3 horses trail riding at Farmdale park. She posted the picture below with the caption: "Belle, Trixie, & Loki were Rock Stars on the trails at Farmdale park today"
