Camper

Right after the walk this morning mom and I left for a little town about 2 hours away to pick up our new to us camper. This camper is actually 20 years old but was owned by a retired couple that took very good care of it. It is all aluminum so won't rust, no leaks, no soft spots, and everything works. Our only problem with getting there was road closures that the gps didn't know about. We had to take a couple detours that added 20 minutes to our trip there but only 10 extra minutes on the way home. I took the pictures below once we made it home. The awning was new last year, it is not electric but not too hard to put down and set up. I really like the 2 doors. The back door goes into the bedroom and the front door goes into the kitchen/living area. The bathroom is right in the middle.

The picture above was taken as I stepped into the door looking right. The table lays down to make a bed for 2 children or 1 adult. The 2 way fridge and freezer are quite large for a camper and was just put in last year. The microwave is above the stove and not pictured. There are many cupboards and cabinates in the kitchen, lots of storage.  The picture below is looking left at the jack knife sofa, the big cupboard and the tv stands which also has the radio and dvd player in it. The airconditioner works well, cooling the camper down quickly. The door in the picture below is the bathroom door.
The bathroom has lots of lights and plenty of outlets.

The bathtub and shower take up the entire other wall.
The door going into the bedroom from the bathroom is a pocket door taking up no room at all which leaves plenty of room to walk around the bed. That is probably my favorite feature after staying in our other camper and having to crawl over Mark to get out of bed each morning. There is a small night stand on each side of the bed, plenty of cupboards above and on each side and one big closet on the back wall (not shown).

I'm thrilled with this purchase and hope it gets lots of use.
Rhoda was here when we arrived home giving riding lessons to Addyson and Jace. Addyson had already finished hers and Jace and Rhoda were heading back to the cabin to put the horses away.

When Rhoda got back we moved 2 bales in, one for Evan and one for Ribbon's old paddock. That paddock has 5 big mares and 5 foals and they go through a bale about every 4 days. By this time it was 96 degrees outside. The barn aircondtioner was turned on, the black horses were hosed down and those that were panting were put inside for the rest of the day. This heat is hard on them. At Middle Grove they spent their days lounging under the trees and jumping in the lake to cool off. Here we have to use air conditioning.
This evening when it finally cooled down mares were teased. Dakota is now out and her owner called to let them know. They will pick her up tomorrow. Madiera was teased and she is also out. I may have missed her, only getting her covered once on the 2nd. Sheena was in and covered then hosed down. I still need to clean stalls but that will wait until tomorrow.
