Beautiful Thursday

We had beautiful clear refreshing weather after the big storms and torrential rain yesterday.  After the walk I left for Stock and Field in Pekin, IL where 600 pounds of grain was stuffed into my little Prius and from there I drove to Aldi (right next door) where $78.00 of groceries were also stuffed into that very full Prius. Addyson helped unload the grain. She was able to carry a 50 pound bag of grain all by herself from the car to the shed. After the grain was unloaded and the groceries put away we all headed to the lake to cool off.

Rizzy saw a chipmunk run into mom's flower bed and took off chasing it.
Rosie joined in the fun. Of course they did not catch it.
There were wasps on the beach, thankfully I had wasp spray on the golf cart and killed a bunch.
Below the boys are looking for the chipmunk.

 The water temperature was perfect.

They had so much fun on the waterpad mom bought last year.
Berlica and Hannah arrived all dressed up for their evening out. Hannah found out just a couple hours ago that she passed her boards. She is officially an RN! She and Berlica were going out to celebrate that and Berlica's birthday that was in June.
The picture below even shows the shoes!
This evening Rhoda came over and after supper they decided to take the horses swimming. Mike brought Mika home yesterday and he hasn't been swimming for over a year so Mike wanted to give him a refresher. Below they are heading over to the lake.

Nolan was busy fishing and Zion was so glad to see him.

Zion found a big worm, she and Eden admired the worm but they called it a snake. Nolan had to go check it out to make sure it wasn't really a snake.
Below is the video of the swim across the lake.
The horses all did well.

When we were putting the horses away Zion climbed on the golf cart to start driving.
She is a crazy driver.
They were given baths and Addyson brushed hair.

We are now headed to the camper for bed. Tonight the girls (Addyson, Zion and me) are sleeping in the camper. Tomorrow night Ben and the boys will be sleeping in the camper and then Saturday is the girls slumber party in the camper.
