4 and a HALF Inches

It was not raining this morning on our walk. Right after the walk a bale was moved into the far paddock then Indy teased. She showed so was covered by Evan. She was turned loose to eat her grain when Sarah arrived with Zion and Eden. I still needed to move a bale in for Easter Lilly so Sarah and the girls helped with that by holding the gate open. She took her girls and Taunya's children on a golf cart ride while I ran to Diane's office to balance the Horsemeister checkbook. She found a few mistakes on that such as not writing in the credit card bill and a couple of paypal expenses for advertising but at the end we still had money in the bank so that is a good thing. It was raining when I got out of her office and it continued to rain as I drove home then walked to mom's house for a visit. Sarah had the kids all at Rachel's house and Rachel fed them lunch while they were sheltering from the storm. We had a little break in the rain where the down pour slowed down to just a nice soft rain so we all headed home. Zion and Abe had a fun time playing in the boxes Diane gave me this morning on the walk.
They each had their own little house shutting and opening their doors.
By this time the rain was coming down very hard. Sarah left with her girls and of course everyone got wet trying to load them into the car.
The rest of us went out on the porch to watch the rain.

Taunya made it home in time to load back up, their family was invited to Drew and Rachel's for supper. Mark and I drove to mom's for church tonight and were joined by Ruth and Fedi. We got notice that water was coming into the shop at Meister's. Spark left to go check it out. Thankfully all the inventory was up in the warehouse. The water receded but left lots of mud. We had 4 and a half inches of rain before church then after church it was raining again. We really did need rain but never dreamed we would get such a surplus. Our pond is full and the siphon is shooting water out high into the air.
