Shye was teased early this morning and covered by Evan. We had cooler weather for the walk and we only did one round as today is Berean day. Mom and I left at 8:30 am to head to the Berean office. IF you would like to read about our morning there click
HERE. The highlight of the morning wasn't the work we were doing, or the volunteers we were doing it with, nope the highlight was Leila's dessert. She brought in peach cobbler. I can honestly say without double that this was the very best peach cobbler I have EVER tasted. the peaches were from Georgia and were perfectly ripe, sweet and juicy. Every bite was an absolute delight!
Leila topped each square with vanilla ice cream and home made peach sauce.
When we got home from Berean mom gave Molly a bath and enjoyed sitting on the deck in the sunshine while she dried while I just sat and visited. Later most of the grand children came swimming. This evening we picked up pizza from Casey's for supper and after supper went over to mom's for games with Rhonda, Ruth, and Diane. Joan didn't come, she was too busy pulling dead trees out of the lake with the tractor.
