Packing

Rebekah made the video below of the 2020 Indian came for the cousins.  She did a fantastic job!
A special thanks to Joan for holding this camp and teaching SO many things and a special thanks to Rebekah for recording it.
Right after the walk the 2 horse trailer was backed up into mom's drive to load up the canoes from Joan's and mom's house. Joan came over paddling her canoe and bringing mom's with Mackenson and Joey.
As soon as the canoes were loaded we drove to Diane's lane where her canoe and kayak were waiting. We had moved them to the end of the lane on our walk. Those two were also loaded and we drove to the barn where the big trailer was waiting.
Ruth and Fedi had their kayaks waiting to be loaded. Below Joey and Mackenson are loading the very last kayak.
The trailer doors were shut and thankfully everything fit. We have 7 crammed into that trailer, 4 canoes and 3 kayaks along with  13 paddles. The dressing room is loaded with 2 generators (one gas and one battery) Ruth and Fedi's tent and luggage and now our food and luggage.
Addyson was giving golf cart rides to her siblings until I needed her help moving in bales.
We moved a bale in first for Valiant, then the paddock next to Valiant, then the middle paddock. By the time that was finished it was around 10:30 am and I was more than ready for breakfast.
All the girls took all 12 of my grand children to Fondulac Farm Park. Below are 11 of them, Braelyn is not pictured as she was at the front of the school room teaching the others.
Abe and Elisabet were sharing a desk.
Even Eden was enjoying the class room. She IS over a year old now and ready for school.

The kids had a lot of fun at this park and all the mom's came back exhausted.

I didn't get to go as I had company come today. Kat the lady that is buying Jenis came to meet her. She would like to hire Nolan to deliver her. When Kat left for home I left for Peoria, first to return the camper cord picked up on Monday as the old one showed up and then to Aldi for groceries for our canoe trip tomorrow.  Packing was done this afternoon. When Taunya came back from the park the kids went swimming at mom's and came back with a baby crawdaddy.
I showed Addyson how to pick it up without getting pinched. Below is Addyson's hand.
Below they are all taking a turn on touching it, even Abe touched it. These city grandchildren are learning to be country pretty quickly.

This evening I moved in a bale for the mares and foals in the front paddock. All paddocks now have plenty of hay for the time I'm gone. The keys to the horse trailer were taken out of the 2003 truck and put on the ring of the 2015 truck. I think we are just about ready. We will be leaving at 8:00 am and will have no cell or internet service until we return Saturday evening.
