She really is beautiful with her long legs and upright neck. She was born June 7th making her 18 days old today.
By this time Phil and Anna's girls along with Ben and Taunya's children were here so they were loaded on the golf cart to help. Below Kensley is feeding her some grass.
If interested in seeing the rest of the pictures of this filly click HERE. When Sheena and her filly were put away we brought out Hadassah and her filly for pictures.
Kensley really likes this filly.
Below she is showing Jace how to move her to the side.
We really can't tell yet if this filly will gray or not. She is 75% Friesian, has the huge movement of a purebred Friesian, and all the hair of a purbred Friesian. IF you would like to see the rest of her pictures click HERE. Last out today was Jewel and her filly. This filly was led out and tied first.
She wasn't too happy about being tied but it is easier to teach them when they are young to learn to stand quietly. This filly was born May 29th, 2020 and is almost a month old. She is a gorgeous mover. Check out how high off the ground she gets in just her normal trot.
When we finished with her Braelyn drove the loaded down golf cart while Addyson led Jewel and Taegan rode her back.
That was so much fun some of the other kids wanted to ride her too.
Kensley got a turn.
Jace got a turn.
Braelyn got a turn.
To see the rest of the pictures of Jewel's filly click HERE. When Jewel was put away, Taunya's kids had to load up to head to Sarah's house while Anna's kids left for lunch at the playground. Karin took a group out trail riding then promised the grandkids she would be back tomorrow to let them ride. The pictures were downloaded and then placed on the website. It sounds like such an easy job, this getting pictures to update the website but first the foal must look presentable and it really does take at least 2 people, one to ask the foal to move and one to take the pictures.
This evening mom and I went to Cyds for dinner meeting the Young at Heart group. We enjoyed our meal eating out for the first time since Covid 19 closed all the resturants. We left there after 9:00 pm. A long but productive day.
