Rhoda and I left for Walmart to pick up a coffee maker as this place only has the Kurig. Lee ordered pizza for supper and Pizza Hut has a drive through service so as soon as we were done shopping we just drove up and they loaded the food into the car. Talk about an easy supper! After supper David played baseball with any of the kids that wanted to.
Kensley found a toad and she and Jace played all evening with it until grandma let it go.
Grandpa helped the girls put together kites.
The girls all had fun running through the yard to make them fly. After darkness started to fall we finished up with ice cream cones before hitting the showers. Mark, Lee and Rhoda when on a hike while Ben and Taunya went out on their date night. The other's watched their babies.

Mark is already sound asleep as are the little kids. I can hear our children visiting and laughing together as I write this and my heart beats with gladness. There is nothing better for us parents to see our children enjoying each other's company. We are blessed!Sean sent a few pictures from their trip out west and by looking at them I know exactly where they visited today. Our parents took us to the same spot in 1966 and I remember being so afraid to climb the rope ladders that were there then.
Erik wrote the journal today. Below is his journal entry for Saturday:

Saturday Day 5
Today we started out driving an hour to Mesa Verde where we went on two tours of Pueblo ruins called Balcony House and Cliff Palace. Both were a lot of fun and quite cool. After the Cliff Palace we had a picnic and then went to a museum where we looked at different exhibits and some watched a thirty minute informative video about the different groups of Indians that lived in the area and the styles of homes they made. When we finished with the museum we went on a two hour hike where we saw petroglyphs as well as some amazing views of the scenery. We were blessed that it didn’t rain the whole time, because it really looked like it was going to and even lightninged a little bit. At the end of the day we had some delicious steak and potatoes and then s’mores. It was also like sixty five degrees which is freezing for us Haitians. Afterwords we sang hymns around the campfire and warmed up a bit.
