Once the ground was flattened Mark had to use the skid steer to remove a post then took the bucket off replacing that with the auger to drill the 6 holes needed.
Once the holes were dug the bucket was put back on and Mark used the skid steer to load the manure spreader for Emily to spread on the fields. This worked pretty well but there were a few times Emily had to wait until the skid steer got back from the other job. One of those waiting times we pulled Winston out for some new pictures for the website.
He was lead out to the round pen and a short video was also taken of him. Check out the heart stamped on his rear end.
He was put back and Ripper brought in and stalled so his paddock could be cleared too. Mark worked on that paddock while Emily brought Dakota out. She is still in but may be going out soon. She was a little impatient with Valiant today. Once Dakota was taken back I started hauling the 2 x 4s and 2 x 6s to where Tim was building the shelter. We stopped work around 4:00 and had an hour to clean up and rest a bit before heading to the Fellowship Hall for the Skyline Benefit. That is always a fun night. It was well attended in fact it was hard to find a place to sit down to eat before the auction started. We were high bidder on a few items. Diane drove her van so we felt free to bid on bigger items. Mom was high bidder on a big Christmas wreath making us thankful for the van. Time for bed, we are going to sleep well tonight!
