Attached or Not
The weather in our area has been extraordinarily nice, 2 days ago the temperature hit 70 and yesterday was almost 60 but a change is on the way. We don't want normal around here we like the unusual warmth. Each day has been such a gift and I am grateful. Today Rhoda is coming over to help get new pictures and maybe a video of Olympia Jenis' filly. She is now weaned, all of her paper work has been sent in for registration and dna tests, meaning it is time to advertise her. My problem is I don't want to sell her. She is the last Raven daughter Jenis will have and each year the foal Jenis and Raven produced was the best of the babies. Watching Steven ride Valiant during the dressage lesson 2 days ago reinforced how beautiful this filly is going to be. Valiant at 3 is well over 16 hands, has gorgeous conformation, is beautiful, and has Raven's kind sweet disposition. Do we really want to part with a full sibling to him, one that could carry on the Raven line? Check out her full brother below see how majestic he is already and he is not even full grown!
Olympia will be just as beautiful when full grown. Check out her beautiful face below from a picture taken this summer.
I must not get attached to the inventory, I must not get attached to the inventory, say it again... I MUST not get attached to the inventory!
Steven called to report his ride last night on Valiant was amazing. Valiant is understanding trot canter departs and was almost 100% on them. His canter is becoming more collected and straight. Good job Steven.
