4th Try
The video of Valiant at the dressage clinic was one of the more frustrating videos to make and render. The first time took 3 hours to render only to find the end of the video sped up to about 3 times the normal. No problem, just re-do it right? Not so the next rendering took 3 and a half hours and the sound track didn't match the movement. The second try was worse, time to start over. The 3rd try was a lot shorter but I was distracted with company and when it finally finished rendering after 9:00pm there were all kinds of mistakes. The program was closed out and everything restarted finally finishing just after Mark arrived home from his Home Board meeting around 10:00pm. The rendering was started and off to bed we went with the thought I should probably wake up around 1:00am to start the upload process on youtube. Waking around 1:30am and checking the program I'm shocked to find it only about half done. Finally around 5:30am the video is finished and the upload started without watching it first. Then came the time to watch the finished product and again the sound track toward the end doesn't match and the final 20 or so seconds speed up. So the questions are: is it too high definition for this computer? Is the program I am using corrupt? Perhaps this video isn't meant to be made. There will be no more tries on this one, too much time has already been spent on it.
On a funny note, I got a text from Stephanie that all the kids were on facebook working on the Sceggel Christmas. Well that was something they were all instant messaging at once. That was hard to keep up with, old minds struggle with new things. At the end of the confusing conversation it was made out that the Sceggel Christmas will be at Phil and Anna's on December 16th, the day we get back from Haiti. Rhoda has a volleyball tournament and will be just a bit late but the rest of the family can make it. That way I can go to mom's on Christmas. She always cooks the best Christmas dinner EVER!
