Worming Day

Steven called from the farm around 10:10am and by the time I arrived he had 10 horses haltered and tied up waiting in the middle paddock. We went from paddock to paddock with 2 of us worming we were done in a half hour, that must be some kind of record. Ribbon got 1 1/2 wormer she is so large and that left the other half of for Aragon as he is just a little over 3 months old and shouldn't have an entire wormer. Once that was done we decided to try Jenis again with the bow. Rhoda worked on the first step on Sunday and got that confirmed but we cannot get Jenis to go down on the knee. She will hold her leg up as long as we ask, we just don't know the next step. If anyone out there can give us any ideas we would be so grateful. We taught a pony to bow with treats but even trying that Jenis is not getting the idea to go back and down.
Once home both Darcy and Emma have their new rabies tags on their collars. Darcy's is good for 3 years but as this is Emma's first rabies shot she could only have a 1 year. Darcy weighed 177.9 pounds and Emma at a little over 4 months weighed 62 pounds.
We are leaving for the cruise on Saturday and have hired Steven Marchal for the horses. Sarah will be taking care of the dogs as Rhoda is AGAIN going to be gone. That girl is in such demand we don't see much of her.
