Miami the First Morning

Our first morning went like this: I was up at 6:00am (5:00am our time) and very quietly dressed and went down to the lobby for some coffee. Was visiting with a nice lady also going on a cruise when Mark came down around 7:00am. He said the alarm went off at 6:30 and no one could figure out how to turn it off until finally Diane was able to figure it out. They all came down for breakfast a little later and breakfast was good. The hotel provided hot oatmeal, waffles, eggs, sausage, many breads, fresh fruit, yogurts, juices, milks and a good supply of coffee.
At breakfast Mike wanted Diane to call the Davidovics to find out how Ebby their puppy is surviving without them. Really Mike wanted to make sure she wasn't howling but it seems all is well. Mark found a great quote by Mark Twain. Heaven goes by favor, If it went by merit, you would stay out and your dog would go in.
We checked into getting a cab to wal-mart to buy some blow up life jackets for snorkling but it is $20.00 to get there and back, it would make dollar sense to just rent unless we can find it cheaper on the islands.
Diane has arranged a cab to take us to the Port of Miami. They are to pick us up around 11:00am so we are heading down to the pool, we are having warm weather and sunshine, such a delight after our gray, gloomy, cold weather at home.
