New Waterer

Madiera was teased early this morning and still in so was successfully covered by Valiant. Tomorrow he will have a day off but I will need to tease her again on Friday. Diane, Ruth, Joan and I walked one round then stopped in to visit with mom and Aunt Jinnie. After the visit, Joan and Ruth helped take down the big 8 foot rectangle tables for the hog roast. Those tables are so heavy, someday we hope to replace them with light weight Lifetime tables. Ruth took a picture of Joan and I on the walk and sent it.

Right after breakfast I took the truck down to the camper repair place on route 29 and picked up the Wildwood camper. We had to have the slideout fixed. This is the second one that the slideout room ended up completely off the track. It is a design flaw from Forrest River. We contacted them but they do not have a solution. Joan is working on coming up with a solution to this problem and believes she has one. If it works the campers we own with slideouts will be better than new. While I was gone Mark finished with the automatic waterer.

I like the design of this one, there is no way for a horse or raccoon to pull the plug. It is also very well insulated and bolted down with 4 big cement bolts so there is no way for a horse to knock it off. It is also supposed to be much more efficient to warm in the winter. This kind costs more than twice as much as the cheap ones which have lasted about 15 years. We will see how well it works in the winter and if it works well we may never need to replace this one in my lifetime. We put Jewel and Sally in the middle paddock to try it out. They were both suspicious of it.

This afternoon while doing laundry I worked on the new website. At 5:30 pm we left for the fellowship hall for Family night pulling out after Spark and Rhonda then Mike and Diane. The meal was awesome. grilled chicken with alfredo sauce and noodles, a good salad, home baked rolls and bars and cookies for dessert. Tina and Lanae were serving the lunch and it included fresh squeezed apple cider from Christ Orchard. After the meal Gary shared the Ebenezer's in his life. When he got to the part of getting married to Marie, Marie stood up and told her side of the story of losing Brian. She was a young widow from Forest with 7 children ages 2 to 17 and how God really was faithful in sending Gary. It was a good day and a very good message.  If interested in watching this message click HERE.
