Well the Meloxicam took away the sharp pain but not the aching bones so at 2:00 am I took one of those arthritis 650 Tylenol and was able to sleep for at least some of the time. Rizzy and I went out to the 5th wheel to check the mouse trap and again no mouse. I'll leave that trap set a few more days. We had a lot of frost this morning and our walk was done with winter coats again. It warmed up nicely toward the afternoon but most of the morning was cold. Since there were airbnb guests coming into the apartment today the stall area needed to be cleaned. That hadn't been done since Saturday morning. The electric blanket used on the colt was brought in and washed. I'll try plugging it in tonight to see if washing ruined it. It was hung up out in the sunshine to dry. The weanlings need a new bale but instead of moving one in they were let out into the pond pasture with the Lily and Rosalie. There is plenty of hay in the middle paddock but also the grass is growing quickly. Below is Indy's colt by Evan.

Valerie is not pictured, she was still in the paddock. After letting them out it was time to do a little inside work. The 3 dozen eggs were boiled for tomorrow to dye the Easter eggs.
When those were done they were cooled and then taken over to mom's where Joan was busy repairing something on Faith's car. I went in to visit with mom for a bit. She was concerned about the eggs as all she has were brown eggs from Tina. Joan also had eggs to boil so we assured her that there were plenty. When I got back all three weanlings were at the fence line. The grass really is greener on the other side of the fence. Check out Tessa's mane in the picture below.

For supper tonight I tried a recipe I found on the internet it was supposed to be a take off of a tuna casserole. I added cheese to the recipe and it made it more like a tuna omelet.
It wasn't terrible but I would not make it again. Kress sent a gorgeous picture of her almost 2 year old Evan daughter out of Zalena lit up by the late afternoon sun.

We left for church at 6;15 pm and went the interstate. We beat Joan's car and Bill and Bethany's carload as they went the town way. Tonight was a very somber Good Friday service. The ministers took turns reading about the betrayal, trial and crucifixion of Jesus. We left the sanctuary and then the church silently.
