We had such a beautiful warm day yesterday that this morning was a shock. Freezing cold temperatures with lots of wind and even sleet. Our poor guests in the airbnb ran out of propane this morning. Thankfully they were checking out today but from the time they ran out the temperature dropped inside quickly. Those campers are not well insulated. Even after that experience they left us a great review, 5 stars on all the categories then wrote: Beautiful place, lovely views, the horses are friendly, the camper feels like new, we recommend this host. The weather doesn't look good for this week and I don't want to lose money on that 5th wheel by burning propane for heat so blocked it off for the next 8 days in hopes the weather will warm up. We had a good day in church. Rick Kaisner was visiting and had the morning message. Click HERE if you would like to watch and listen and it will be well worth your time to do so. David had the afternoon message and that too was wonderful. Click HERE if you would like to watch and listen to that. Ruth brought mom to church as Joan was in Bluffton for the Reinhard Easter. Rebekah dropped off a gallon of milk from her cow after church. The weather wasn't much better after church. It was the perfect weather to roast a pork loin, serve that with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans cooked in chicken broth, pumpkin bread from Rhonda and left over birthday cake and ice cream for dessert. After dinner we all made our way over to the gym. It was just too nasty to want to spend any time outside. Below is a video of some of the indoor fun.

Crazy Cold
After everyone left Mark and I took the golf cart to the indoor arena, locked the back and side doors then brought in Tatiana and Irish who are both heavy in foal.
They are not due until May so hopefully it will warm up nicely before they deliver.
The sleet was hitting our faces as we were moving horses and that stung. It is currently 36 degrees, the wind gusts are 45 miles per hour and being outside is freezing our fingers clipping the lead ropes on to their halters. Crazy cold weather for April 16th. I think both mares will enjoy the dry sandy indoor arena for the night. There was a notice that the watch that was ordered last week for my birthday was delivered today to our front porch but there was no package here. Mark walked over to mom's to see if it had been delivered there but it wasn't. Anna found it tonight sitting on the step at the apartment. Thankful that was found. The couple staying in the apartment last night also left a 5 star review writing: The apartment was easy to find. It was very convenient to be able to park right at the front door. It was very clean and looked even better than it did in the pictures. We appreciated having a nice, pet-friendly, affordable place to stay.
