Heavy Equipment

Well I didn't haul again today, there is still too much ice on the drives but Mike was out to check all the horses and said they are doing great.  Maybe tomorrow after work the ice may be melted enough to get at least 2 of them home. This afternoon the loader arrived. Mike is going to be doing some work on Ribbon's old paddock before taking it back to Middle Grove.
The semi hauling it here was just huge but was able to not just make it up the hill, he was also able to use the circle drive once it was unloaded to get back out on the road. We have had transport companies for people buying horses that are not willing to try even though I tell them semi trucks and trailers carrying heavy equipment make it up.

Below Mike is unloading it from the semi trailer.
Below are a few pictures of some of the horses at Middle Grove.
Above is Lily and below is Sangria left and Jewel right. Lily is due in June 1st,  Sangria is not bred, she just has a big belly from her colic surgery years ago. Jewel is due June 15th.
Lola is pictured below and she is due April 13th.
Missy is not bred, she is in too much demand as a riding horse.
Sally is pictured below and she too is not bred for the same reason as Missy. She is also in too much demand as a riding horse. What is interesting in the picture below is that the horses are all free out on 200 acres while the hay is fenced in. Mike moved in 6 bales on Saturday for them.
We are thankful for the mild winter. The horses are doing well and the hay is lasting longer than usual.
Puppy news is that there are just 3 pups left in Nikki's litter of AKC registered purebred Poodle pups. These are Moyen size, that is smaller than the standard Poodle but not as small as the miniature Poodle. Their eyes are now open, they are just over 2 weeks old. They are non shedding, make wonderful family pets but are very smart and have energy so if you want one you will want to make sure they have plenty of toys to play with and room to run.
There are still 8 Whoodle puppies available. Their eyes are now open and they are starting to play. These Whoodle puppies are a cross between a purebred Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier with a purebred Moyen Poodle. They are also non shedding and make wonderful family dogs.
Last but not least there are still 2 Cavapoo puppies for sale, both males. They are now 3 weeks old and starting to play. They already love people and are well socialized.
Ruby, the mom is 75% Poodle and 25% Cocker and Duece the dad is an AKC registered King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. These fluffy fat puppies look like little teddy bears as they grow up and are so adorable.
