Cor Arianne is the mare that came in for breeding last year and didn't leave. Her owner paid the stud fee but then would not respond to emails or phone calls about picking her up. Dr. Hoerr confirmed her in foal today, she is due Aug 28th, 2013. This mare stands a true 17 hands and is a black bay. We have her birth day May 31st, 1999 and her registered name of Cor Arianne, her registration number 90-05043-99 but have no idea which registry she is registered with.
The owner has been left messages but has not responded so Cor Arianne is now on our website placed for sale. Holly and Prissy were both sonagramed both are in season now. Prissy is a bit farther along so was covered by Valiant today. Holly we will cover tomorrow. Gem the half Friesian outside mare was also sonagramed, she had a follicle of 50mm and is ready to ovulate. She was covered by Evan.
Karin twitched Zalena so I could test her colostrum. She is not ready, not even as bagged up as I thought. She is due in 13 days. She was so glad to be put back in her own paddock.
Karin did some training on Missy and Cookie, then made the comment she would really like to take them off the for sale list, she feels they will be pretty much perfect for the camps. Instead of taking them off completely, we have raised their price to $4000.00 each.
Rachel posted the picture below on her facebook page, check her page out by searching moments captured by Rachel There are lots of gorgeous pictures posted.
The picture was taken during the last snow storm looking across Diane's pond into the cabin field. I think the horse is Bunni.
