Once the laundry was done and the kitchen floor scrubbed it was time for the fun work. Lily and Rosalie were brought into the barn where Rosalie got another tying lesson. Today went much better, she fought it but gave up within a few seconds then stood while all 4 feet were handled and picked up numerous times. She was such a good girl they were taken into the outdoor arena for some fun time. Lily had a ball.
Rosalie has wonderful movement, notice how far off the ground she gets with each trot step:
She is such a pretty girl so of course we needed a close up picture:
Indy was taken out and covered by Evan, then Lily teased. Lily is now out and can be taken out to Middle Grove any time. Mike took Mika, Bunni, Sally and Paris back tonight.
After dinner Mark started working on scraping the paddocks.
While I moved horses around. Amy Koch, her daughter Sarah and 2 of Sarah's children came over to see Ella's filly. She was taking a nap when they first came in to see her.
She had to get up and stretch.
She loved it when the kids were scratching her, she started grooming Olivia right back.
We headed over to mom's on the golf cart for a short visit. Tomorrow Steven is coming, we will head to Middle Grove to bring back Cor Arianne, Holly, Prissy for sonagrams. If we can catch her we would like to bring back Hadassah, she is due May 1st.
