More RAIN?

We woke up to the sound of RAIN! Read Nate's last post about our weather posted this morning at 5:00am by clicking on his link to the left labeled Nates Fishing blog or copy and past the link below: http://thediaryofalakenerd.blogspot.com/ This was NOT suppose to happen in fact we are to have a stretch of 10 nice days, starting from last Thursday. Wednesday night almost 2 more inches were dumped on the farm so when the farmer came to see about cutting the hay the ground was so saturated we have standing water on TOP of the hills, the tractors could not get in the fields. Our first cutting is yet to be. Today we are to haul the horses to the Herman Lake in Norris, IL for senior high girls camp. We had decided we were not going if it was predicted to rain, it was not predicted and yet it is raining. Here's hoping it will stop and dry out, it is suppose to be extremely hot at 95 degrees with heat indexes in the 100s. The girls will need to be at the lake for survival.
Sarah left camp last night, picked me up at the farm and drove home to download a couple of videos she took during the first day of camp. The people in charge of camp needed them off our camera. Our camera is high def and the clips must be rendered so other computers can play them. It was pretty neat to see the videos as we were downloading them they keep those girls BUSY!
