Drop the Ball (Towel)
Mark & Fedi Drop the ball (towel)
Leave it to some fathers to mess up details. With only minutes to go before baptism, Fedi, Ryan, Mark & Bill walk up in front of the church baptismal without a towel or robe in sight. Thankfully, our servant-leader Tim has the presence of mind to spring into action. He sprints through the church basement collecting a few towels from the lady’s sewing room and then races back to Fedi, thoroughly winded. Mark gives Bill a large towel after baptism but Bill also receives the small towel. Mark was supposed to have given the small towel to Ken…sorry about the wet hands Ken. On the way out Willis and Mark shake hands but Mark doesn’t take Willis’ towel…see above picture. In spite of all our human failures and shortcomings, we are thankful for God’s blessings and love on those that seek Him (Matt 6:33)
