I don't think anyone slept well. The situation with Tim is just heart breaking and it seemed most of the night was spent in prayer. We did not get an update until later in the day. Mark went out even before breakfast to spread rock around the new barn.
After breakfast the horses were fed then Whiskey teased and covered. It wasn't an easy cover so I believe she is going out. Mike had to come help this time. Prince lost his halter but I just left him free while leading Dahlia into the stall barn for their grain. Prince actually led the way, he knows the routine. Hannah sent an update that was another shock.
Well , I just got a call from the palliative care nurse after she finished her meeting with dad. She said they agreed that he would stay in the hospital if he can have more visitors. They put him completely on comfort care so that he is now allowed 4 visitors at a time any age as long as there is an adult. She started giving him a little morphine now. When ever he has seen people and says he is ready they will put him on a morphine drip and wean off the oxygen turning up the morphine when he gets air hungry. At that point he would fall asleep and they would keep him comfortable until he dies. Some people die right away when they turn off the oxygen, some people live for a few days but they are kept asleep on morphine.
The next update came from Marlene:
Well, Tim met with the hospice nurse this morning. The possibility of getting a lung transplant could take a couple of months so that option doesn't seem to fit his needs right now. His oxygen drops to very low numbers when he tries to move around much.
Hannah sent the next update a bit later:
Dad met with the hospice nurse this morning. His oxygen level has been getting worse and he is pretty uncomfortable. He is going to try to hold on over the weekend to see all of the family and then he has asked them to remove his oxygen on Tuesday, Lord willing. They will put him on a morphine drip at that time to keep him comfortable and he will pass peacefully. Please pray for us as we try to get everyone in to see him without wearing him out. Please pray a special prayer for my youngest 3 siblings (ages 14, 13, & 10) and for his grandkids (ages 15, 12, 5, 3, 2 and 2 months) as they say goodbye for the last time. - Hannah
Mackensone was helping Mark with the rocks when Joan came to get him. She took the kids down to the hospital to see Tim. They each got time to visit with him.
Bill and Bethany and their 4 children made it to the hospital this evening and the last update came later: Tim was able to see most of his family and several of his siblings today. Lord willing the rest of his family will be able to visit him over the next couple of days.
He handled it really well but I’m sure he is emotionally drained this evening from not seeing any family for 3 weeks to seeing many of them in a few hours! Thank you for your continued prayers!
Rodney and his girls are in Gulf Shores and are driving home Monday. Praying they all get to spend time with their grandpa Tim.

This is just so unbelievable for us and yet it really is happening. Karin and I spent the afternoon with mom. Karin had come earlier and did liberty work with Valiant getting a gorgeous rear. No pictures as I didn't realize she was here. Today was Rachel and David's turn to get Nancy and they gave her a jeep ride. She loved it.
Mom saw the picture and wanted to know why Nancy is wearing a winter coat and David has a t shirt on with no sleeves. Rachel sent the picture below with this text: Because David already has his winter coat.
We had testimonies at church tonight. It was a wonderful evening listening to 2 people telling their story and how they are at peace with God and man. Praying for that for Tim as he finishes his journey soon. On the way home stopped at Phil and Anna's to check on Pax.
