The Wedding

We left Hanna City at 9:00 am for the Washington AC Church. We were almost late leaving, mom went to put her shoes on, put the first shoe on which was for the left foot, then grabbed the second shoe and that also was for the left foot. At that point she realized the shoes didn't even match. She started looking through her closet to find the mates to both of these left shoes but couldn't find them. About that time she thought maybe she gave that pair away. Hopefully who ever got them have 2 right feet. We arrived at the Washington church at 9:45 am and should have made our way into the sanctuary except we were busy visiting with SO many old friends. It really was a wonderful reunion. Randy Kellenberger from Kansas had the first service. The Randy that married Karen Wiess, not the Randy that married Ruth Klien or the Randy that married Karen Geyer. Lunch was awesome, so thankful for that time to fellowship. David had the wedding service.

It is on AC Central but who ever posted it on AC Central put down that David Obergfel was the minister that had the service so it was a little confusing.  After the service Mark and I left for home as we had 2 dogs to let out. Mark let Rizzy out, Israel's dog who is staying with us this week and I drove over to mom's to let Molly out. Karin arrived right then and she was glad to let Molly back in so I left for Sam's club to pick up the pizza for tonight's meal along with all the food for the visitation lunch tomorrow. I made it back to our house at 4:00 pm, turned on the oven and had everything cooked and ready by 4:45 pm. We were not in a hurry, volley ball had been canceled tonight because of the wedding. Only Ben and Taunya's family and Nolan and Eden came for dinner. Phil and the girls came after dinner. Rhoda, Sarah, Stephanie and Anna along with Zion, Eden, Israel and Elisabet all left for Gulf Shores after the wedding.  Spark came driving up on the 4 Wheeler with 2 of his grandsons but stopped to talk about the wedding a bit.
He then went up to the barn telling his grandson's he was taking them to see the cows.  Of course the boys have to explain to their poor old grandpa that cant see very well that those weren't cows but horses.  Glenna, Leona, Steve and Barb stopped in for a very short visit. Glenna wanted to see the barn and they all first enjoyed a meal at Gil's supper club.  Glenna reported that Gils was packed and the meal took about 2 hours. Crazy how popular that place is on Sunday evenings.
When Spark got back with the 4 wheeler and the grandkids, Rhonda took them back to pet the horses.  Below they are petting Irish's colt and I think that is Soul's filly next to him. I meant to take a picture but accidently used the video button first.
I can't tell Soul's filly apart from Rosalie's filly unless I am right next to them and I forgot to check when I was taking the picture.
Back at the playground since there were no volleyball players the grandchildren were playing kick ball on the court.
Amy arrived with some poppy plants for mom's garden and went in to visit with her a bit. I took the kids back to the house for a snack and by the time I got back to the playground everyone had left. Amy and I visited for a bit there until the mosquitoes arrived forcing us to go in the house or put on spray and since I didn't have any bug spray we went in the house for a nice visit. She, Rhonda and Susan are going to help tomorrow to set up the lunch for the Reinhard family at the visitation tomorrow.
