It was hard to get moving this morning. Emotional exhaustion is just as tiring as physical exhaustion and yesterday was both. As Ruth and Fedi are up in Rochester, MN at the Mayo Clinic, Diane is in Gulf Shores, AL and Joan has lots of company, mom and I took the golf cart over to Joan's and ended up staying a little longer than expected visiting just a bit too long. Berlica came up holding Daisy, check out that bed head on Daisy in the pictures below. She slept well.
Today was Bill's 34th and William's 4th birthday. The tradition in Joan's house and now passed along to the Frauhiger house is breakfast in bed for the birthday person. William came out while we were visiting and of course we had to send him right back to bed.
That prayer was pretty short.
Mom and I needed to get back pretty quick as we were already late to pick up the Berean mail. We were driving to Berean and were on Sterling when Sarah called wondering what time I would be picking up Eden. Sorry to say I FORGOT! We changed direction quickly and headed straight down to their house arriving almost 45 minutes late. Eden was waiting patiently. Apologies were given and Nolan graciously forgave and then we were back on the road heading for the Berean office. We had a lot of mail and only mom, Eden and I to process it so went right to work.
Eden was perfect the entire time we worked. We quit at 1:00 pm and only got the basic studies ready for grading. We didn't open any of the letters or process the intermediate. Those will need to wait until Tuesday. We stopped at Meisters on the way home to drop off the studies to be graded for the Roanoke church then headed to McDonalds for a late lunch. Poor Eden was sound asleep but was pretty thrilled to get her happy meal when we finally did make it home. We only had 3 hours here before it was time to take Eden home. By the time I made it home it was almost 6:00 pm and I just couldn't face cleaning up for church. Mark was willing to drive mom so I stayed home to watch on line.
