We had a beautiful cool morning for our walk and that made it easy to walk faster than usual. After the walk Prince, Irish's colt and Dahlia, Rosalie's filly were brought into the stalls for their grain. We practiced going in and out 3 times this morning. Once they finished their grain I left for Walmart to pick up some camping supplies for the new trailer. When I got back there was a really cool walking stick next to the door.
After Mark and Mackenson quit weed whacking Mark spread more gravel around the new barn with the skid steer which he is now parking inside the new barn. Mike moved a new bale in for Oksana and Dancer and both came over here for a visit running out of the gate as he was moving the bale in and running into the field next to Evan. I just shut the gate and left them in to graze until this evening when Mike got home and took them back to the cabin field. Prince and Dahlia were brought back into the stall for more grain this evening and this time Dahlia was led in first and then led back into the paddock first. Prince thought he shouldn't have been left inside by himself so we had to practice going in and out of the stall and the stall barn until he learned to wait and walk quietly without trying to rush past me. He learned manners tonight and by the time we finished he was walking quietly by my side. This Gypsian is really special. Most Gypsy's don't have the best gaits, they are after all cart ponies but crossing the Gypsy with a Friesian, this colt got the best of both worlds. He has amazing movement, has the mega hair and best of all should end up close to 16 hands. AND if left a stallion with his coat pattern should for sure throw spots.
Prince is registered and dna'd in the Gypsian book of Friesian Heritage Horse International. He is now weaned, has a brand new coggins and just happens to be for sale for $6500.00. That is an amazing price for a Gypsian of his quality and if he was a filly we would be keeping him, but we sure don't need 3 stallions.
